Experienced mountain runners Angela Mudge and Jethro Lennox will be talking about their new book World’s Ultimate Running Races, (Collins, September 2011). Designed by runners for runners, it features 500 of the world’s best races and has been critically acclaimed by RunBritain, Athletics Weekly and Runner’s World. Publisher Jethro Lennox will explain what inspired the project and who was involved in making it happen. He will also be demonstrating how he transformed the book into the World’s Ultimate Running Races app (now available on iTunes). Angela Mudge, who compiled the list, will be retelling her experiences of racing in some of the world’s ultimate races.
You will be able to buy The World’s Ultimate Running Races on the night for a special price of £10 (RRP £20) – cash sales only. Angela and Jethro will also be available to sign copies and answer your questions.

Angela Mudge
World champion mountain runner and skyrunner; her achievements include winning the World Mountain Running Championship in 2000, winning the 2006 and 2007 Buff Skyrunner World Series, and being one of only five Britons nominated at the 2001 Laureus World Sports Awards alongside David Beckham, Steve Redgrave, Jonathan Edwards and Lennox Lewis. She has won the World Masters Mountain Running Championship in 2005, Scottish Hill Running Championships three times, the British Fell Running Championship five times, and holds the women's record on more than thirteen courses in Scotland alone.
Jethro Lennox
Publisher for Collins Geo, a division of HarperCollins Publishers, where he publishes maps, atlases, guidebooks and geographical books. As an international standard runner in 2008 he won the Three Peaks race which incorporated the World Long Distance Mountain Running Challenge. His other achievements include the Scottish Hill Running championships a record four times, twice runner up in the British Fell Running Championship and winner of each of the major Mountain Marathons.
