Sheffield resident, internationally acclaimed author and film star Joe Simpson has agreed to be Patron of ShAFF and will be present at this winter's festival. Joe had this to say about the festival:
Film has been a big part of my life this last year with the production of Beckoning Silence and other TV commitments, so it is with great pleasure that I support the Sheffield Adventure Film Festival in 2008. ShAFF has a superb line up of films worthy of any international film festival and it’s fantastic to see them being screened right here on our doorstep in a setting recently voted as best cultural venue in the region.
